Matt & Oz

Los Angeles

Matt and Oz met in film school and began making comedy videos with friends as the sketch group Honor Student. Upon graduation, they started off working for the TBS comedy site Super Deluxe, making upwards of 40 videos, and eventually began directing and editing for Funny or Die, allowing them to work with such stars as Bryan Cranston, Tim Roth, Megan Mullally, Rob Corddry, Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly, Charlie Sheen and Mike Tyson as well as comedy music videos for Cee-Lo and Ke$ha. They were then tapped to direct the 2013 season of Saturday Night Live, where they have been since January.

For the branded side of Funny or Die, they've done work for Mini Cooper, Starbucks and Sony pictures. They've also directed segments for seasons one and two of Funny or Die Presents on HBO and are attached to their first feature for Ivan Reitman's Montecito Pictures.

In addition to their comedy sketches, Matt and Oz have shot commercials for Quiznos, MTV, Chevy, Under Armour and Stove Top – which got tons of love in the advertising press. Currently Matt & Oz have wrapped up their latest stint at SNL and are working on a pilot for Comedy Central.
