Peter Farrelly
Peter Farrelly
Recognized for his distinct comedic sensibility, Peter Farrelly, along with his brother Bobby, has garnered notable commercial success with his heartfelt and raucously funny films.
With their most recent film The Three Stooges, which opened on 4/13, the Farrelly Brothers have once again pushed the comedic envelope. Long time Stooges fans, they worked hard to stay true to the Stooges original films while moving them to a modern day setting. Lots of reviewers were skeptical going in and many have come out laughing.
Hall Pass, released in February 2011 by Warner Bros., follows a married man who’s granted the opportunity to have an affair by his wife. Joined in the fun by his best friend, things begin to get out of control when their respective wives also begin engaging in extramarital activities. The all-star cast includes Owen Wilson, Christina Applegate, Jenna Fischer, Jason Sudeikis and Richard Jenkins.

Building off the overwhelming response to the film, Peter and Bobby continued to define comedy with There’s Something About Mary. Starring Ben Stiller, Matt Dillon and Cameron Diaz, the film has gone on to gross more than $360 million worldwide. Their catalogue of additional hits includes Kingpin; Outside Providence; Me, Myself & Irene; Shallow Hal; Stuck On You; Fever Pitch; and The Heartbreak Kid.
